ACP Cladding for Storefronts: Benefits, Cost & Care
If you've noticed how sharp and modern newer showrooms and clinics look in Patna, there's a good chance you're looking at ACP cladding. It's become the default finish for premium storefronts — and for good reason.
What is ACP?
ACP stands for Aluminium Composite Panel: two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a solid polymer core. The result is a flat, rigid, lightweight panel that comes in dozens of colours and finishes — solid, metallic, wood-grain and mirror.
Why storefronts choose it
- Weather-proof: it shrugs off sun, rain and humidity without fading or warping.
- Clean, modern look: perfectly flat panels with crisp joint lines.
- Low maintenance: a wipe-down keeps it looking new for years.
- Versatile: ideal as a backing for 3D letters, backlit logos and full façade wraps.
- Fast to install: panels are fabricated in the workshop and fixed on-site quickly.
What does it cost?
ACP cladding is typically priced per square foot and depends on the panel brand, finish and the framework behind it. As a planning guide, expect roughly ₹180–₹300 / sq ft for good-quality branded panel with proper aluminium framing. Backlit ACP with routed lettering costs more because of the lighting and precision cutting.
Keeping it looking new
ACP needs very little care. Wash it two or three times a year with mild soapy water and a soft cloth — never abrasive scrubbers, which can dull the coating. Check the sealed joints once a year and re-seal if needed to keep water out.
